To register with MyPsych.com, click on the "Register" button on the home page and follow the prompts. You will need to provide a current email address, a password and your contact details. Once you've registered, simply log in using your email address and password.

You'll be asked to give consent to participating in online therapy. Click the 'consent' tab. This is an important step before moving forward and it is mandatory. However, your consent to using your de-identified data for research purposes is optional.

Once logged in to the secure site, you may book a session, read more about our psychologists, check the policies of their accrediting bodies and other resources. After your first visit, you can also start or reschedule a previously arranged appointment and view information on your therapy's progress, check your 'To Do' list, an agreed list of tasks created by you and your therapist; update your profile; or read about MyPsych.com and Online Therapy.

Booking a therapy session is easy. Simply click on the "Book a Session" tab in "My Toolbox", choose a psychologist, an available timeslot and submit your payment.

Participating in a therapy session is just as straight-forward. Half an hour before your first appointment you will be asked to complete a questionnaire, which helps your therapist better understand your needs. Once you've logged in, you will be prompted to start your session near your appointment time. Your session will begin with your therapist initiating the chat. Whilst the session is in progress, you chat with your psychologist in real-time and you will also be able to view your 'To-Do List'. 10 minutes before each subsequent session, you'll be asked to complete a quick 'Mood Assessment' survey. These are designed to help you and your therapist accurately monitor your progress.
